2023 Peer Power Self-Advocacy Summit

We are happy to announce The 6th Annual Peer Power Self-Advocacy Summit! The 2023 Summit will take place in-person in midtown Anchorage, Alaska on Friday, April 28th to Sunday, April 30th, 2023. This year's event will focus on empowering individuals from all corners of the state. Be inspired by your peers to energize the movement of Advocacy to the I/DD community.

In order to attend this Summit you must be at least 18 years of age or older, have an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability (I/DD) and be interested in advocacy. (Not all applicants will be selected to attend due to limited space available).

Deadline for application registrations is Friday, March 24th, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Please make sure you apply as early as possible, this event is on a first come first serve basis.

For selected attendees coming from outside the greater Anchorage Area funding will be provided for airfare/transportation, food and hotel accommodations.

***There is a $30.00 summit fee for all selected attendees due upon check-in at the event. If you have signed up as a member before registration, You can expect a fee of $15. If you would like both registration and membership, There his a $25 membership/registration fee.****

All selected attendees are expected to be present during the summit hours of:

Friday, April 28th - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday April 29th - 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m

Sunday April 30th - 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
